Clutch cable and throttle cables for a Kawasaki Vulcan 800
Does anyone know the stock length of the clutch cable and throttle cables for a Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 800? I've measured twice with differing results, so I want a 2nd opinion. Thnx.

When you disconnect the throttle cable from the hand grip control can you move it freely? If not then the cable is either broken inside or something has jammed it inside the sleeve preventing it from moving. If so I would replace the throttle cable.
If the cable moves fine when not connected to the grip then you installed it wrong somehow. Take it all apart and reinstall.
if the clutch is stuck try holding the clutch handle in and rocking bike back and fourth, if it don't let go try starting bike in gear(while sitting on it) and holding clutch handle in while popping the throttle sometimes that breaks it loose, remember to keep clutch handle pulled in
Buy clutch cover gasket
Unhook clutch cable at clutch cover
Remove clutch cover
Remove 5 clutch spring bolts
Remove springs
Remove pressure plate
Remove plates and disc noticing order
Replace with new plates/disc in same order (after soaking in oil for at least a few hours, over night would be better.
Put everthing back together in order of removal.
