there is a set of fuses ....... when standing facing the side of the bike that has the clutch on it.... look down at the section of bodywork rearmost (closest to the rear wheel) this section can be unscrewed. in this you will find the relay for the starter motor and the indicators. as well as a small box type containing a number of fuses.

hi buddy dust wouldnt cause this problem change the disc and get a softer pad its difficult to understand why this happens but basically metal in the pads cause groves in the disc and the metal in the pads try slotting in these grooves as you brake and this causes squeaking mate

SOURCE: electrical wiring short troubleshooting

You almost certainly have a bad coonnection somewhere, have a look behind the headlight to start with. Really, you need to do some electrical fault finding with a multi tester. Try to pin point exactly when the fuse is blowing - ie when u switch something on, or when you start up..... Some times the tank of these can rub o hole in the wiring loom underneath - check there. There are many electrical `potential` probs with gs`s but they can be rectified. Try the GSRESOURCE site for more assistance.

Turn signal fail and lose power

You may have developed a short circuit or an electrical component failure that increased the load on the alternator thus reducing available engine power. Since the turn signals failed check that circuit and all other accessory circuits or accessories that are attached directly to the battery.

2005 boulevard m50 wont start. New battery, checked and is good. Started fine before last battery died and I tried to jump it off. Ideas?

When jump starting a motorcycle, make sure the other vehicle is OFF (not running).
Check your fuses...you most likely blew one during the jump start process.
