Why is the lighter is blowing fuses on my 2011 street glide

my roadking just did the same thing, check the gasket between carb and intake

look around the tripple tree for chaffed or pinched wires. most harnesses go into headlamp. try turning handlebars either way and turning switch on. if no help try unplugging 1 piece in circuit at a time until it doesnt blow, culprit found.

Since the introduction of the Twin Cam engine, heat has been a real problem. Go here and look at this site. http://www.nightrider.com/ I do not know if this works or not but the reason your engine runs so hot is because of the extremely lean fuel air mixture. The factory has to set the mixture this way in order to meet the EPA emission standards.
