If it has spark , it may not be a wiring problem.that is stopping it from running
The head light not working is a differnt issue, maybe the ignition switch, or light switch

Hello.
Here is the thing, If you have blinkers not working and you put on a new flasher, assuming the new flasher is working correctly, then there is only a couple things on the circuit to have it operate properly. Number one is the flasher, which you said you replaced, number two is the bulb, making sure it is proper bulb and of course working correctly, number three is the blinker switch itself, to operate the blinker could be worn out, or contacts are worn. And finally, which i dought, is ground issue problem.
My money is on the flasher connection, where you put new flasher on maybe is not getting good contact, can check with a 12 volt wire tester to make sure has power, and my money is also on the blinker switch itself. I first would to the easiest and cheapest to trouble shoot, and replace the bulb first, then use a wire tester to make sure you are getting power to your blinker switch. I hope this helps.Gut feeling for me , i believe it is your flasher connection, try that next, if you know bulb is good. Thanks Mike

Mine was stored for 20 years, I ended up replacing the seat and needles, cleaning them thoroughly and when I tried starting it, nothing!! No gas was going to the carbs, it turned out to be my gas pump, it was seized by the old gas remains 'varnish' so I had to clean it numerous times, soaked it in gas cleaner (short period at a time 15 minutes or so, being a very powerful cleaner, you cannot leave it for long without causing greater problems, thus I was able to get the pump going by boosting it with my car batterie, having more cranking amps directly to the pump, the pump was able to release itself from the old crusty varnish.
