The caps on motorcycle plug wire that snap onto the spark plug wear out and yours may need be replaced. They just unscrew from the wire and new ones screw onto the old wire. May not hurt to see if your plug wires can be changed from the coil as well. Get some new solid core wire and the resistor caps.
Its a nut & bolt job ,but remember that you will need new gas seals as you cant reused the old ones . Make sure you have new ones before you strip them of the bike .
The idle circuit is still plugged up or it would not be giving you this problem. Remove the carb and dis-assemble it then soak the parts in denatured alcohol for 30 minutes. Then use a spray carb cleaner to finish the job. Spray into all the little holes in the carb body. Especially spray into the air screw and throttle screw holes. Reassemble the carb and LIGHTLY seat the air and throttle screws then turn each of them one and one half turns outward. This is the factory setting. Before putting the slide back into the top of the carb, move the clip on the jet needle one notch lower on the needle. This will richen the low end fuel mix. Install a new spark plug and clean the air filter. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
The float needle is stuck open and not shutting off the gas. Lightly tap on the bowl with a screwdriver handle and it may stop. If it doesn't then remove bowl and clean the float needle and seat.
Look in the device manager to see what model the drive is and when you have that information then go to the manufacurers website and download last Firmware revision for that drive and update it. It will still be years old and that laptop has to be at least 13 or 14 years old. You will be lucky to find a suitable replacement as it is well before the current players as it have an IDE connection instead of sata which current ones have. So even if you could find a new one it will be at least 4 years out of date.
