Finding a replacement gas cap

1. Look over the user manual included with your fireplace. ...
2. Remove your fireplace's outer cover. ...
3. Put a fireplace key into the device's gas valve knob. ...
4. Hold a long lighter up to the burner and ignite it. ...
5. Turn the gas key. ...
6. Replace the fireplace's outer cover immediately.

Next time it stops, remove your gas cap and see if it starts without waiting 15 minutes.

If it does, your problem is probably the gas tank venting.

Air has to be allowed into the gas tank to replace the fuel leaving it, or it will "vapor lock"

Regulations no longer allow a vented gas cap to vent directly into the atmosphere, so look for a vent line, and make sure it is clear.

Some (like my bike) have a one-way inline valve that allows air into the tank, but doesn't allow fumes to escape.
These valve stick closed sometimes.

A major limitation is the steerer tube length. No matter how many times you cut a steerer tube it won't get longer.

Getting Riser Bars or simply flipping the stem over or getting one with a different rise and reach might give you the added height you need. If you LIKE the handlebars, the stem is the best and least-invasive option as most new ones come with front loaders (detachable front caps) that allow replacement without stripping components off one side of the handlebar. In minutes a Bicycle Shop could swap any number of them onto your bike for you to try.

If you had purchased the bike at a reputable Bicycle Shop they would have fit the bike to you before you took it home.

The problem is in the carbs, or the idling is too low, if you turn up the idling just a little the bike should not stall anymore.

Without specifics regarding the pedal and crankarm we can't really answer that. Take it to a reputable bike shop for their assessment.

best bet would be to get a new one also remembering how much the dealers charge for there products i would go aftermarket threw partsunlimited, cruiser, or Tucker rocky but the dealer still has to order it for you, all have great quality products at cheaper prices than O.E.M replacements unless your still under warranty.
