If you have the 4.7 liter V8 with the engine code (N) 5W-30
If you have the 2.5 liter, 3.9 liter, 5.9 liter 10W30 but 5W-30 can be used under cold climate condition. (Alaska)
Capacity with filter 4.7 engine 5.7 liters of oil
Capacity with filter 2.5 engine 4.3 liters of oil
Capacity with filter 3.9 engine 3.8 liters of oil
Capacity with filter 5.9 engine 4.7 liters of oil

Disconnect the plug underneath to drain fluid, look in your service manual to find the capacity and viscosity. There is a plug in the side of the transmission as well that is the filler plug, however it is more convenient to pour through the shifter once you remove it. If you use the filler plug method you will have to attach a tube to the oil bottle and squeeze it into the transmission as there may not be ample room to tilt the bottle and use gravity.
