1. Make sure tank has fuel and is not stopped up. Make sure petcock is clean. If this is a vacuum feed - make sure the vacuum hose is not cracked or have any leaks. Disconnect the fuel like going to the carbs , then use a manual vacuum gage to pull vacuum on the petcock to see if it fuel from the carb lines. If it doesn't, you have isolated the issue! If it does flow fuel, reconnect the carb fuel lines, then remove the float bowls from the carbs then repeat the process, If no fuel is flowing out, you have found the problem, If it does flow, you fixed it

SOURCE: 2008 suzuki GSX 1000 motorcycle indicates on

FI = Fuel Injection. The FI computer is telling you that it has detected a problem and the code for that problem is "C13". Telephone your dealer and ask what that code C13 indicates is wrong. Then you can determine if you want to try the fix, i.e. "clean the air filter", or if the shop must do it, i.e. "# 3 injector is restricted".

SOURCE: fuel setting on GSX 600 R

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

"PRI" is a setting that would allow fuel to flow from the tank with or without the engine running.

"ON" and "RES" are settings that require engine to be running for the fuel to flow. It is a safety interlock on the petc0ck (fuel cut-off valve) and is activated with the presence of vacuum from the intake manifold. Vacuum will only exist if the engine is running.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa. Happy Holidays.

SOURCE: low beams dont work on my 98 GSX-R

more than likely it is nothing more than a blown low beam fillament in the globe apart from that the system may be fused on both high & low beam however Im not to sure about that on this model

1998 Suzuki GSX 600 F (Katana) only running on 3 cylinders

Hey Anon,
...If the bike has been sitting for a long time,.. as you state..99.999% chance its the carburetors, they are probably clogged/stopped up/dirty.. (sitting for this long has actually ruined some carbs to the point of replacement).. all the garbage that is included in gasoline now is really bad on the insides of a carb!!) Take them to a qualified professional for checking, cleaning and setting .... Check the compression on all cylinders.. you should have at least 120+psi. MINIMUM.... with no more that 20PSI. max difference between ANY two cylinders... Forget about all the minutia in the first answer.. just a bunch of copy and paste... no real life experience..he's just racking up points

Where is the prime position on the fuel on a GSX 750 fn

THIS IS QUITE EASILY RECTIFIED, REMOVE THE FUEL LINE FROM THE TAP,SLOWLY TURN THE TAP FROM 1 DIRECTION TO THE OTHER, WHEN FUEL FLOWS READILY FROM THE OUTLET ON THE TAP, NOTE THE POSITION ON THE TAP AS FUEL WILL ONLY FLOW WHEN IN PRIME POSITION. {VACUME TYPE TAP REQUIRES ENGINE TO RUN FOR FUEL TAP TO OPEN, WHEN NOT RUNNING FUEL SHOULD ONLY EXIT THE TAP IN PRIME POSITION). REASON FOR FUEL FLOW WHILE NOT RUNING WITH TAP IN ANY POSITION, COULD BE DIAPRAM FAILURE IN TAP.

When i get on the gas in gear it feels like there is no power

It is time to get your engine tuned, check the fuel, the timing and the tuning settings.
there can be a reason that the tuning of the fuel/timing of engine can cause this power diffference.

Check and confirm.
