Hi Don , start checking all the fuses . I would suggest you get a manual as it will identify them all, but most have several near the battery compartment , usually under the seat. Normally some on the right or left front side near the handle bars. I would suggest that as you trace the positive from your battery, the first fuse you hit will be the issye. Good luck

SOURCE: yamaha fazer is miss firing

I have had the same problem. It is not the spark plugs - although it is always a ggod idea to change them to eliminater them as a potential issue.
The Spark plug holder can be a problem - in my case the wires leading from the ignition lead into the holder - had started to work loose- a common problem apparently. Solved by changing the holders.

SOURCE: Yamaha Power Valve System

yes you do need a battery, the best position for thr power valve is half open, then once its started turn it either open for bottom end power or closed for top end,i think that right it might be the other way round ant quite remember, but half open should be best for it to start

SOURCE: I need to drain the

Remove the tank and hold it upside down. You will probably have to shake it as well as there is a ridge around the filler hole. Once you have got as much out as you can, you can remove the rest by blowing compressed air into the tank to evaporate the remainder of the gas. Removing the fuel tap will also drain out much of the fuel, but there is always the problem of the fuel on the other side of the frame recess. If the fuel in the tank is very old, rinse the tanks several times with fresh fuel before you start the engine. You will probably have to strip and clean the carbs out and replace all the rubber parts and gaskets as well as fuel turns to gum if left standing too long.

My dashboard, radio and the windows have all stopped working on my Toyota Chaser mark 11 1g, how can I fix this problem.

It isn't normally as easy as changing a fuse. Fuses only blow when power is diverted to ground. Connecting a battery in reverse polarity causes damage to modules and sensors which require replacement. The Toyota 'Chaser' is an unknown model to us here in North America, so this search query may work better for you. Please add the year to my query before the work 'Toyota'. You will almost certainly need a good auto-electrician to diagnose the module that has failed, probably BCM.

and a bit of information regarding reverse polarity.

Need wiring diargram to reverse motor c218-314c, 220vac

If your electric motor is turning wrong, check the polarity on the battery with a voltage meter. Reversing the + positive connection with negative will cause the electric motor to turn in reverse direction.

It appears the polarities on my original 2008 yamaha r1 battery are not correct is this common. I removed it and put it on a battery tender. The red hot wire only reaches the negative connector on...

If the cables fit fine before you removed it and now don't, either you are putting the wrong battery back in....or you need to turn the battery around so the terminals are close to their proper cables.
Never reverse the cable connections,

I have Yamaha psr 260 and I am connect on 24V, and now speakers dont work. What am I doing?

I believe that is the wrong VOLTAGE !!!

The PSR takes a 12 volt, 1 amp or more DC power supply with positive on the pin.

If you have connected 24 volts either AC or DC of either polarity you have likely caused internal damage. Try a 12 volt DC supply and if it doesn't work, it needs to go to a repair facility.

ALWAYS check the voltage and the polarity on ANY of the devices using the power adapters BEFORE connecting the adapter..

After replacing the battery I have no power at all

Possible causes:
1. New battery defective. ( Open circuit between battery cells ) Seen it before, therefore, possible.

2. Battery terminals not making connection ( check terminals )

3. Battery has different polarity than the original battery. ( Positive post and the negative post are reversed ) They do sell the reverse battery, therefore, possible. Basically, a battery hooked up backwards.
That would cause the Main fuse to blow resulting the no power in the vehicle.
