I need a location for a part

My friend owns a 68 or 69 Manual Astoria Espresso Machine. She needs to replace a check valve but has no idea where it goes. I am trying to find a schematic for the machine. Can any one tell me where the part goes in the machine? Along with a picture or drawing of the location.

Gloria two group Astoria was shooting steam the other morning we turned it off what could this be from?

Where is the steam coming from, if its from the top, then the problem is the vent valve or the safety valve, if it is the safety then the pressure stat needs to be replaced because it might be damaged or blocked at the tube that connects it to the boiler.

Astoria sae 2n machine tank is full but not heating, any ideas

Check to see if your machine has a reset thermostat on the left side of the boiler, on new models it is located on the top, second some machines have a 2 position switch make sure it is on 2.

Boiler has quit working

Check to make sure that there is water in the boiler by either checking the sight glass then rocking the machine to see if the water level bobs up and down, then check the thermal reset switch on the left side of the machine above the element. Make sure there is water in the boiler before pressing reset and turning machine to number 2. After machine heats up make sure pressure does not go past 1.5 bars on the gauge. If it does then the p.stat needs to be replaced.

Older machine needs repair

When you press the dispense button does the needle on the dispensing pressure gauge move up to the green area? If so, most likely your group head solenoid valve is bad. It's located behind the back splash. It's a small black box connected to a metal tube just behind the group head. They cost around $70.

If the needle doesn't move it could either be your pump or motor. Now you're in the $200 range.
