How do i fix electrolux dishwasher when error code 1 is flashing

Hello friend, thanks for your post!

I see your Electrolux dishwasher is displaying an "E1" error code. "E1" stands for a leak detected which means your dishwasher base has detected a leak. If you can't see a leak you may want to perform a reset on your dishwasher you can do that by disconnecting the power from your appliance for roughly ten minutes.

If that does not correct the issue you may want to seek assistance from a technician. They would need to come out to diagnosis and repair your dishwasher. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

How to fix error code leak detected on Electrolux EIDW5905JS0A?

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you have an error code of a leak detected on your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EIDW5905JS0A. I also see that your drain was clogged to start and after you cleared the clog was when the error came up. I suggest resetting your appliance, be either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 20-30 minutes. Restore power and try any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.
