Where is my fuse box - CBR 600F 1998

I hit the starter button while the bike was running, and it promptly cut off- ignition lights are all on but the starter switch no longer does anything. My first thought was to check if I'd blown a fuse, but I didn't have the necessary tools to get to the fuse box. I just want to check that I'm right in thinking that the fuse box is located underneath my tank, since it doesn't appear to be under the seat.

The only fuse that controls the starter is mounted to the side of the starter solenoid under the seat. Trace the red cable from the battery and it will lead you directly to it. the fuse should be under a cover where the battery connects to the solenoid. Where is my fuse box - CBR 600F 1998 - 516de7a2-1b2f-4069-ae8d-fa308a16c1c8.jpgsolenoid should look something like this

SOURCE: starter relay fuse keeps blowing

30 amps is heavy, so bypass nothing. Look for a short in a heavy circuit like the the headligh, starter (questionable because of delay) same with starter relay. You have a wire shorting out on the frame somewhere. It's that cut and dry.. Go to the auto parts store and buy an automatic circuit breaker that matches the fuse type your bike uses. but instead of a 30 amp, get a 20 or 25 amp. As long as theres a short it will trip and reset by itself saving you the hassle of changing fuse every few minutes.. While the breaker cycles on and off you can search for the short. When you find it, the breaker will stop cycling and stop in the on or reset. Good Luck

SOURCE: Starting fault

There is also a safety switch on the clutch lever that could give the same symptoms.
Another thing to check is the fuse block that has a starter relay built in (hidden) above the fuse compartment. My D5 has the same symptoms and this is the problem. If I keep the starter button depressed for some seconds the relay operates and bike starts.

Bike will turn over but won't start wiggle wire harness an lose all electrical and I lose all electricals, no dash lights, no lights, no starter button. Nothing replaced all fuses and got electricals

What kind of bike? It sounds like maybe the kill switch is either stuck or there is a loose connection somewhere. My cbr does it from time to time, but if I switch the handlebars back and forth holding the start switch it'll fire over, either that or you might have a bad connection between the wires and the ignition relay, check your power going to the cdi box and voltage regulator, and double check the ignition fuses for power whe the key is on

Bike wont start unless the headlight fuse is removed

Check the ignition switch.  The headlight power runs through the ignition switch, and this turns off the headlight when the starter is engaged, which provides full battery power to the starter without the load from the headlight.  If there is damage to the starter button, it may be shorting out and causing the problem.

01SUZUKI KATANA GSX 600F Bad Starter/Relay Switch~that is the ?

If there is a clicking noise when you hit the starter button, then the relay should be fine.
If there is no sound, check the fuses before removing the starter.

Engine cuts out

I had a similar problem with my Honda XR. Turned out to be the Ignition Control module. The unit is probably sealed and unable to inspect. I figured it out by hitting it while the motor was running and it would cut out.
