The clicking noise, is the engine cranking to make the noise, or is it a start relay clicking when you press start? You may have a major internal engine part failure. With the bike on the center stand and the tranny in highest gear, spark plugs out, try to rotate the engine by the rear wheel. if it rotates a bit forward and backward, you have broken something in the engine. Ouch!
the noise you are hearing is probably the starting relay on the compressor failing and causing the overload protector to cut the power off to the compressor. Try replacing the overload and starting relay.
put a volt meter across the battery terminals, should read over 12v stopped and rise to 13.5v with the engine running.
If the voltage doesnt rise there is a problem with the charging circuit.
Be carefull starting from a car, as this can cause damage to the bikes electrics, as the bike tries to produce enough amps to charge up the car when the bike starts, and overcook electrics.
Check for spark first. If spark is there, chances are the carb has filled with water that has accumulated from condensation in the gas tank. Drain the carb, stick in a fresh spark plug and then give it a try. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
the sound from the icemaker is coming form the water solenoid valve, which needs to be replaced. if your frezer is cold then the fan is fine, most are switched to turn off when you open the door so you arent likely to see it running unless you set up a camcorder in your fridge :-)
If you cut the bike off using the kill switch, but left the ignition key turned on, the electric cooling fan behind the radiator will sometimes come on for a little while. Turning off the ignition key will stop the fan.
