The battery is located under the seat. The FI light refers to F uel I njection. The sensors on the fuel injection system have detected a problem. It could be anything from a dirty air filter to fuel mapping errors. You need to take the bike to a dealer and have them hook up a code reader. The reader will tell what problem has been detected. I have a 2004 Rune, I changed oil last year with Mobile 1 Synthetic 5-30W. The bike is running great. Added 4 quarts.

hi mate there arent any tips for servicing except buying descent oil like silkolene race oil 4 t descent stuff the oil filter just unwindes and then you just wind the new one on and the air filter you just unscrew the bolts or screws holding it in place and take it out and replace with new filter thats about it good luck
