SOURCE: electrical problem

Find the ground wire on one of the lights and add another ground wire to a good clean metal surface and see if that fixes the problem. It defently sounds like a ground problem at one of the lights.

SOURCE: light indicator problems

I would say try and REPLACE the turn signal fuse/relay. It should be a square, black fuse/relay on your fuse panel. They run about $10.00.

SOURCE: jeep - right turnsignal won't flash

Probably a bad ground on your front right signal, or a bad bulb. Try switching the right with the left, and see if the problem stays in the same place, or goes with the bulb.

Alpha Romeo 156 My Left hand indicator light stays on continually, does not flash. and when I turn the hazard light switch on both indicators continually glow.

Generally speaking, symptoms of a bad or failing turn signal bulb are usually the culprit...in your case, either it's the front left or rear bulb. Varies for different vehicle makes...common signs include:
  1. turn signal light staying on solid
  2. or blinking very fast
  3. or either sides of the bulbs stop blinking altogether.
To test this, make sure you reconnect everything you disconnected.
Turn the left signal light on; go to the front of the vehicle, is the turn signal bulb illuminated? If it lights up, even though it is not blinking obviously the bulb is okay. If it doesn't, replace it- problem solved. You'll do the same procedure for the rear turn signal Is that lit up? If not replace the bulb and the problem is solved.
Another common failure is when the turn signal blinks really fast, same procedure as mentioned above.
If both bulbs for the left side and right side illuminate but don't blink, the problem is in the steering column turn signal switch.
If the left or right side blinkers don't work properly at all...then check the integrated hazard warning/turn signal flasher relay- that may be defective; again, that's usually the case if both sides of the signal light don't work.
If you are blowing any fuses related to the flasher system, you have an electrical overload in the turn signal circuitry.

Right turn indicator stays on

flasher relay under steering column does not work, switched it with hazard and see if it works, then get the new one, make sure the light on turn signal in front or back is not burned out first

I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora I'm having a problem with my left turn signal lights both in the front and back the lights won't turn on I already replaced the bulbs in the back and front

I suspect that the problem is in the indicator switch and not the lights. To prove this press the hazard lights and if all lights flash it is not the lights or circuits./he indicator unit just flashes and the power is directed to each side depending on where the indicator switch is positioned . If one side flashes first and repositioned to the other side and it won't work then it indicates a switch fault and not bulbs.

Left indicator lights not work

blinking fast indicates a bad bulb on that side. try front and back bulbs
