If you have carbs:

http://www.bikebandit.com/2005-suzuki-boulevard-c90-vl1500-carburetor/o/m147639sch503698

Part #60 adjusts both carbs' idle speed evenly.

If you have throttle bodies:

http://www.bikebandit.com/2005-suzuki-boulevard-c90-vl1500-throttle-body/o/m147639sch506971

Part # 14 should adjust the idle speed on both.

Asking about a 2019 Sym 50cc scooter. The motor will start but only runs for about a minute. .

Sounds like you are starved for fuel. Look for a pinched off fuel line or a plugged up fuel filter. That would be my first place to start. Possibly even a bad petcock on the tank.

Idle speed is high on my geo metro what component in engine could be causing this?

vacuum leaks use wd 40 spray the connections if its leaking the speed will change if not it aint leaking ,other thing is has your timing has floated up! if? so reset distributor back is slower idle okay ? the last thing behind these 2 would be the throttle position sensor it is adjustable on some cars i have seen people loosen them run the motor then turn them back and fourth to set them to idle better (seems unlikely) the last and most serious may be your problem the rings and much the piston in these motors wear poorly" and when this happens excessive blow by enters the engine through the pcv valve try disconnecting the pvc when running is there a lot of blow by hold your finger over the pcv valve hose end is motor running much slower ! then you have blow by you need a good piston and ring replacement (beck arnold pistons 3 rings ) and hastings rings or if the beck arnold rings are available between all the above you are sure to find te problem

My 1994 samurai idles really high when I first crank it, but later slow down. is there anyting I can do to ?

From a cold start my sami idles really fast, but as I drive it and the engine warms up it will idle correctly. Is there a way to make it idle slower from a cold start?
what engine ? 1.3 L
carb or EFI? (94 was first year of efi, and many have been converted this old)
but the answer is the same , that is normal.
on car its a fast ilde cam on the carb.
in EFI its on the software and in the IAC thermal valve.

How can i increase or decrease settings? rpm low when warming and running low during normal operations? checked timing it's a 0 tdc. increasing idle speed works with rpm setting and carb?

What is Make, Model ,Year, and Engine?

Does this have a distributor?

Many GM's run a few degrees advance of TDC (Top Dead Center) on ignition timing.

If it has a carburetor, be sure to unhook and plug the vacuum dashpot advance line .

It sounds to me me like you're experiencing a retarded timing condition, which, among other things could cause a slower than normal idle.

Left carb backfiring thru carb after it warm up

The carbs are probably out of sync. Set the carbs so that both slides crack open at exactly the same moment. Next, balance the carbs by disconnecting one spark plug then turning the throttle screw on the runing carb to a slower and slower rpm until the bike stops idling on one cylinder. Now reconnect that plug and disconnect the other. Do the same thing to the point the engine dies trying to run on one cylinder. Now start the bike up with both sparkplugs in place. The idle speed will be high, but now the carbs are in balance. Turn each throttle screw down in equal portions until proper idle speed is attained. It would be a good idea to set the valve lash also. If the backfire continues, chances are the valves need to be re-seated. Re-sync and balance the carbs after the valve re-seating. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Can't adjust carburator.

look on the carburetor. there will be 2 screws right beside eachother. one is an idle jet and the other is the main jet. if you want faster or slower idle speeds, adjust idle jet. if you want more power, adjust the main jet. you have to get them set just right . they might smoke a little bit because you are throwing more fuel to it which means you are getting a richer mix

My 01 Accent cuts out on me when I come to stop and dash board lights up. But vehicle starts up with no problem. What causes the car to die?

It may be that the idle speed of the motor is set to low.A stick shift should idle at about 600-700 revs,an auto at about 750 revs.If the air con is used there is an idle/up device that brings the revs up a fraction because the air will make the engine idle slower.the problem may just be a small adjustment.Hope this helps

2001 A4 Turbo seems to be running slower. Any

Running slower, meaning drivability issues? Push the gas pedal and response is slow? Idle is lower than normal or engine is 'coughing'?
Might be an oxygen sensor, usually an easy fix, but parts are expensive.

Honda prelude si 1991

Hi you are going to need an idle air control motor. This motor/sensor is what holds your idle at the correct rpm at idle.
