We bought this on tuesday my son changed the oil on wednesday and rode it saturday and now on sunday it willnot start, we've checked the spark plug, and the hook on it looks fine but it is dirty, i know nothing about mechanics and have no one to help me figure it out. The bike is a 1991 220 kawasaki four wheeler.
First are you getting spark?second are you getting fuel? to check the spark take out the plug and put it back into to cap(holder) do not touch the plug and turn over the engine.you will see a small spark.if not you starter coil is bad.to check the gas look under the carb there will be a overflow hose by the overflow hose is a flathead screw,open it if no gas comes out you will need to take out the carb and replace the float valve.
