Add a Comment really difficult (for not saying impossible) to do without specialized tools !

  • Michel Tritz May 19, 2014

iff you have good skills on micro electromecanisms, you may can do it but i think it is better to send for repair, as it is just an adjustment that is required it may not too expensive

ok thank you, i have some skills in micro electromecanisms. i would see if it can work out. if not, then i would see to specialists.

  • Michel Tritz May 19, 2014

take care because it is very precise, i would connect the out to a big screen wile adjusting, to see better the movement of the CCD, and i advert you, it is difficult to find someone who will do the work if they see you oppened it yourself ! so do not mark the screws or around them ! :)

SOURCE: JVC GY-HD110U won't turn on with battery power only AC power.

There is an issue with the a small yellow part of the AC plug breaking off in the camera. The camera thinks it's still plugged in, so it won't run on the battery. If you can get a small tool to fit into the inlet you can break the piece up and pull the parts out. I haven't had any luck with it, but read others doing it.

JVC HD-56FN97 all blue colored objects are green; blue water, clothes etc. what is the problem?

Check with JVC as at least on one of these sets had these issues: wrong color, any color missing, picture upside down or backwards lettering etc and this one required the use of the computer with a jig from JVC to download to the unit itself two files.

It sounds like a firmware/software issue and if so JVC should have it on record.

I remember as we were authorized and were at first informed they would charge us three hundred for even using the jig---our owner simply said fine, we will tell the customer we will have nothing to do with this repair(nearest other service center was 150 miles, they had to give us the unit for free or end up replacing the set. My point is they are not the easiest people to deal with unless you have the upper hand with them.

Red color outline and double vision

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony,Samsung, JVC, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Akai, Pioneer, Hitachi, Zenith, and others. You can get a convergenece repair kit wiith instructions from the links below.

I have double blurry vision with green and purple/red splashes on all inputs (ghostlike)

This is a very common problem. If you want to fix this yourself you will need to be able to solder, but other than that its a very easy fix. Both the convergence output ic's need to be replaced (PN STK392-110). If you have a repairman do this for you it will run $300-$500 to repair. Let me know if you want to fix this yourself and i will assist you further.

Blurred TV - double vision with red hue

I was searching online about what could be the problem with our TV and I came across your page. We have a 52" JVC Projection TV that now has a "blurred" screen. We can see the channels but it looks like it's has a shadow around the images. The screen in in a red hue with green blur.

If you have any suggestions on what caused this and what we can do to have this fixed, I would greatly appreciate your advice.

Check that the 3 output plugs are in the right sockets (Red, Blue, Green) There is usually a felt pen colored mark on a white tape on the plug in wires. The Board sockets are marked Red, Green, Blue.
