One screw holds the lens on. Remove screw and pull lens from that side.

SOURCE: BMW R1200RT LE headlight alignment

I had the same problem. I'm doing this from memory, but there is a lever up inside the fairing which when flipped over will lower the beam to the correct spot. I found this solution in the owners manual, so for more precise directions check there.

SOURCE: I have a 2000 BMW R 1100 RT (ABS). The front brake

Because the fluid services both side evenly, you should only need to bleed the LHS. Just bleed it the same as you would a normal hydraulic system.

Put a small piece of plastic tubing over the bleeder valve, and make it as airtight as possible, I generally lock it with a piece of brass wire.
Place this into a jar with enough brake fluid to cover the bottom of the tube. Open the reservoir, it is easier with two people, open the bleeder valve, and pump like carzy, adding more fluid to the reservoir as required until no bubbles appear in the jar. Then lock off the bleeder valve and clean up the mess, after re-fitting the reservoir cover.

I have a 2008 R1200RT done 4000km's . An oil leak has developed at the front of the engine coming from behind the large black plastic cover ( between the cylinders ) Can you tell whats behind here and if...

the crankshaft seal is the only seal that could be leaking on the front of the R1200 Engine. Have you removed the cover (4 bolts) to check what is actually going on?

Depending on where you live, your bike may still be under warranty. 3 years/36K miles in USA. 3 years unlimited miles in Canada. You should have a dealer look it over and possibly fix it under warranty.
