The bike will start but only stays on for about 5 miniutes

That sounds like an ignition coil problem. If that model uses an ignition coil (not electronic ignition), it probably needs to be replaced.

my opinion , this should never get hot as you say it should always stay cool to the touch never hot if it is hot you may have a short somewhere ck the wires get a schemetic and find out where the wires are coming from and which one may be grounded out

at the bottom of the carb there is a drain screw,,before you try and start it , just loosen the screw to see if petrol comes out,, if it does not the theres the problem,, you got a sticky float in the carb,,

The problem can be possible with RAM's print and with graphic chip so when you change the ram but problem will be remain same then you should change your graphic card. I hope you will fix your issue easily.

Is it normal that a new bike dies on you as you drive it? No way my friend. The carburetor should have a thermal-choke and it probably needs some adjustment.

you should have a 5 second delay from the time the bike is started for the light to go out

check for clogged fuel filter....

Remove lh cover from air filter ( chrome cover) and spraysome easy start into the housing while turning the engine over, you could also soak a cloth in fuel, and hold it in the ail filter housing with filter removed, this way when you attemt to start it the fuel on the cloth will enter the engine and hopfully your bike will start, quickly remove the cloth or the engine will flood, if the bike starts hold the throttle at a steady 3000rpm for a miniute or two, until the bike will idle if your bike runs then stops after this, you may try draining the fuel from the carb by undoing the screw at the lowest point of the carb, let it drain completely, in severe cases you may have to remove and cleanout carb

give your bike to any good mechanic.it maybe some engine tuning problem not in carburetor

1. Connect your monitor to another CPU
2. Change The Resolution to 800x600 32/24bit
(After 2 Miniuts SRGB will Reset)
3. After 5 Miniuts change the monitor to your CPU
