If you're getting intermittent operation, then you have a loose wire. first, check that all your connectors are properly seated. then check the wires going into the connectors by moving them while the light is on. if the problem hasn't surfaced yet, then your going to have to check continuity of your light wires from the battery to the bulb. this is more easily done if you buy a Clymers Manual for your Kaw. Good luck.

Headlight

You have a poor connectioin somewhere due to corrosion. I would begin by cleaning up the battery poles and the cables there. Then trace each battery wire and clean the other end with special attention to the ground wire where it is connected to the frame. Finally get a can electronic spray from any auto parts store and spray all of the connections in the headlight.

Is the headlight itself new? You can hook up any 12 volt source to the headlight prongs and tell if the bulb itself is burned out...take it out and test it !...good luck to you....Tim
