When cold my hyosung aquilla will only start on a push start but not on the electric start. When started she runs fine and there is no problem with compression had a engine rebuild as i brought the bike as a none runner. petrol is getting through to the carbs and there is a good spark.
Do you get anything at the push button? Might be worth checking the condition of the battery, the starter solenoid, the main fuse and the starter itself as this sounds like an electrical issue. See if you can get the battery tested 'under load' as the cold can make old batteries sluggish.

When you rebuil the top end and pulled the power valve off did you put the screws bacvk in to the valve arm before puting the case and top end on cause you will either be closed or wide open on valve.and did you put the reeds back in? and make sure the floats are right and all jets are back in it the right way. try that

possible bad rings allowing excessive oil seep up and wash spark out on next fire. do a compression check, ck for proper spark, and fuel....hope this helps
