Hi, I hope someone on here can help me I have a GY6 engine.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to Motorcycles.

It sounds like it is part of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation System, also known as a Breather Hose.

It would be better to know 'year make model', rather than just the engine type.

How do I remove the piston from the crankshaft on my kxt250

if it has a sump that allows you to get to the dig end bolts teh go that way
if is has a split crankcase then you will have to remove the cylinder from the crankcase and split the case
It would be best if you got a manual before you started as it is involved.

Hi my ktm 125 sx 2001 left hand crankcase has a 10 centimetre split right down the middle i dont think it can be a cheap fix with a weld cos the front sprocket must be sticking out a wee bit cos the chain...

a good weld shop can fix that with a price mind you. The best thing would be to replace it. you'll have to split the case to have it welded so why not just replace it. don't forget the seals and check the bearings.

When fired up shoots all crankcase oil out through tailpipe in matter of minutes but still sounds and runs good. smokes bad

Not an uncommon problem when you loose or wear out a crankcase seal. You will have to get a shop manual and disassemble and split the case to get at it or take it to a shop. It's kind of an expensive fix at the shop so hopefully you can do it your self and rent or fabricate case pullers. The seals are inexpensive and you will want to check everything for wear and replace all gaskets.
Hope this helps. Please keep us updated and remember to rate this answer.

How do you split a crankshaft on 1987 kawasaki

to split a crankshaft usually requires a motor engineering shop, who will press it apart and reassemble and balance it.
You dont mean split the crankcase?

066 stihl, have all screws out but can't split case.

Assuming all screws are out, intake, exhaust and cylinder, oil pump and all oil pump related items are removed Screw the clutch carrier back on to the crankshaft (this protects the crank threads) and tap the crankshaft with a brass hammer. (TAP not Whack.) The tapping should loosen the 2 halve of the crankcase. You must replace the crankcase gasket.

Oil come out the air cleaner

Too much crankcase pressure or the breather pipe is split/dosconnected. The crankcase breather goes into the rear of the air filter and the crankcase gasses are drawn in to the cylinder with the gas/air mixture and burned
