Carb schematic - FXD Dyna Super Glide Harley Davidson Motorcycles

U need a service manual unless you know someone who knows what is what. Nest time you will take a picture in advance before you disassemble something.

Go to the Kawasaki site... they have support site: manuals and illustrated parts breakdown schematics. Look there and you'll get it exactly right. I have rebuilt one myself and the schematic helped me find parts and diagnose problems in the carb and mixture.

there must be some adjustments on the new carb that you are not aware of, did the new carb come with some instructions or some kind of schematic or diagram?

Sorry do not think you will find a schematic, however this is how it should be, the Mondo has a remote primer, so there are three pipes, a thin pipe with the fuel filter on the end in the tank goes to the carb connection closest to the alluminium pump cover held with a single screw, the other connection on the carb goes to the back of the primer on the shorter of the two conections ( suction side ) the longer connection on the primer ( pressure side ) goes back to the tank, this is the return pipe, so remember the primer pulls fuel from the barb, into the bulb and dumps it back to the tank, it does not push fuel into the carb

You need to search with the engine information. That is not supported on the sears parts website.
You can go to partstree dot com or some other small engine/outdoor equipment supplier and with the engine manufacture and the model number you should have no difficulty in pulling up an illustrated parts drawing of the engine including the carb.

The fuel line from the fuel tank, with the filter on the end goes to the fuel inlet connection on the carb, this is the connection nearest to the alloy pump cover on the carb, the other connection on the carb has a pipe to the shortey connection on the back of the primer ( the suction side ) the longer connection on the primer ( pressure side ) has a pipe that goes back to the tank, it just pushes into the top of the tank, to re cap the primer pulls fuel from the carb, and dumps it back to the tank.

This site (BikeBandit) will give you a schematic of your carb but the part numbers are theirs, not Harley's.
