We have had it in to be repaired ,the said it was fixed and there was no change it went back in for the second time they said it was the exhust, so we bought a new one they replaced it and it has still no change.It's back in for the 3rd time,when the guy picked it up he said that it's doing his head in because he doesn't know what's wrong with it

I would definitely call the shop who did the repair, and have a tech come back out for repeat service. It sounds as if the original repair did not fix the unit. They will most likely do a better job the second time around.
Sounds like to me a small exhust leak either
a exhust manafold gasket or exhust flange
gasket or cracked exhust manifold.
Anything else would be enteral meaning
valves need to be set, bad lifter, bad rod bearing,
bad oil pump, or timing chain tensioner,
BUT I would be willing to put my money
on an exhust leak or timing chain tensioner
it's one of the 2
i think is the catalitic converter it stok .thake off and cleane it whit a solution for that. and change the oxigen sensor maiby it durty .and give me some news thank mike 66
Hi, Check the ignition timing. Make sure the fuel you are using is specified for engine use. Last one will be to check the catalytic converter if it still open.
check where the headers come off of the engine exhaust leaks are generally quite loud and you will either be at the headers/exhaust manifold or just as you come off that bend there will be a flange gasket inside the two pipes joining. from the bend to the straight pipe just as it passes the gearbox and starts to straighten out.

usually the ones in the exhaust manifolds where the pipe attaches go bad . there is a metal sleeve that goes inside the donut be sure to use these or the donuts will burn out pretty fast. use a generous amount of penetrating oil on the bolts first they get pretty rusted on these .
