Is the battery being recharged properly? Check the charging systems. Sounds like the battery is being drained and not recharged

Did you notice any headlight dimming or slow turn signals or dash lights dimming when braking? Or was it just an issue when trying to strat?

Could also be a bad rectifier not sending the proper voltage back to the battery for charging or you just got a bad battery. Since you just put in a new battery I'd suspect that and have it checked at the shop you bought it from.

Throw a meter on the coils to see how much DC output is coming out. Might be a bad coil or stator.

2003 600 GSXR. Why won't it start?

Check if the power goes to the starter relay; and to the ignition coil.
A short cut is to check if one of the spark plugs is firing.

08 gsxr turned off while idling and wouldn't turn back over

When the engine is idling, the alternator is not charging. Starting the bike will drain a weak battery. A fast idle (1000 rpm or so) will quickly recharge the battery. If the battery is dead and the alternator is not charging the bike will not run. Check the connections at the battery. Remove and clean them. Check the main fuse and all other fuses. (The temp indication may be a false reading due to other problems.)

My 2001 gsxr 600 won't start. I try and start it but keeps turning over. It acts like it wants to but doesn't. New battery everything comes on but will not start.

Suzuki has to have over 10.5 volts at the battery while cranking. If it doesn't , it will crank and crank but won't fire. The ignition system has to have at least that to fire. If it's lower the plugs won't fire, but the bike will still crank over. Check it with a meter to see if that's the problem. If it has all that then make sure you're getting gas would be the next step.

No problem. i have a chance to buy a 2007 600 gsxr with 2500 miles in what appears to be emaculate condition for 4000.00. i wanted to find out if there are any major flaws that will make this bike come...

The biggest difference is that the 2007 GSXR 600 has fuel injection instead of carbs. The FI symbol will alert you that the sensors on the Fuel Injection system have found a problem. When that happens, a dealer will be needed to hook up a code reader to see what the problem is. A dirty air filter is something you can fix. A fuel mapping problem is for the dealer to fix. Minor FI problems still let the bike run. Major problems shut down the fuel system so the engine will not even start. Other than that, just be sure the bike shifts smooth and easy and that all electrics and brakes work properly. How old is the battery? How much life is left in the chain? Does the clutch operate properly? How soon before new tires will be needed? I hope this helps. Please rate my answer.

Left hand fork oil seaql is leaking a bit is they a way i can fix the problem with out buying a new set.they have only bin done 2months ago by the previous owner.

Should be able to buy the seals individually. If they are leaking again, the previous owner either didn't install them correctly, or you have a bad fork leg.
