My 01 yz 125 wont start with kick start,n loses power in low rpms

I was riding my bike and ran out of gas. so i poured more gas in and was riding then it shut off on me. i kicked it like 20 times and then started again. after like 2 miles of riding it started felling like the bike was losing power. once u got out of power band it would try to bogg out. now it wont start unless u push start it. and when i do push start it, it still takes a while to start it after i have already popped it into 2nd gear like its flooded or something. when i get it running it still trys to bogg out in low rpm's. what should i do? i hope u guys can find a solution, thanks.

SOURCE: why would my 01 yz 125 flood out i just put a

Have you made any airbox or exhaust modifications? (too oily air filter, clogged chamber, dented header)
Are you running stock carby/jets? Using the correct range sparkplug?
Check condition of reeds, they may have relaxed their tension and are remaining open, or been damaged by carbon blowback.
Are you using the right fuel at the correct ratio?
Are your crank seals in good condition (is there any sign of fuel oil weeping from behind magneto?
Are the conrod and crank pins okay? (excessive piston side play or up down freeplay)
Is your ignition providing a healthy spark? (coil condition and good earth)
All these issues can have a bearing on your problem, goodluck.
Cheers!

While riding my yz 125 it just died and won,t kick up again

  • If a hole in the piston then install new piston and rings. Next, clean the carbon off the head and install a new head gasket.
  • If cylinder wall is scared the piston has seized up. Pull the cylinder off and take it to the dealer. Have them bore the cylinder and return it along with a new oversize piston and rings.
  • While at the parts counter, get a new stock spark plug and a supply of Yamalube Two Stroke Motor Oil. You need to add 4 ounces per gallon when filling up. This will be a 32/1 gas to oil ratio. NEVER ride the bike without at least the needed 32/1 mix.

1997 yz 125 wont start, please help

2 stroke bike are very dependent on compression. and being a bike that is 12 years old my best educated guess is that the top end needs to be rebuilt. i usually have to have the top end done on my honda about every three years.
