I have a 2009 GMC canyon that has no throttle response

Is the check engine light on, or yellow wrench light symbol? Hook up a professional grade scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . No throttle response , problem with electric throttle control . Two position sensors in gas pedal assembly - two position sensors in the electronic throttle body - plus a DC motor to control throttle plate position. Other poster has no clue. Dirty throttle body would not cause no throttle response, rough or unstable idle for sure.

I have a 97 bandit 600, could i upgrade the carbs in anyway to improve fuelling and throttle response, or could you recommend an upgrade from the stock carbs?

You got the wrong idea here, if you want to improve fuel consumtion you cannot get better throttle response. If downgrade the carb for better fuelling then of course it will has less throttle response.More response means quicker petrol consumption.

2005 trailblazer no throttle response and motor no power at all

Connect a OBD2 Code Reader and look for codes.

Put your hand at the exhaust tailpipe and you can feel if the catalytic converter is blocked up.

You most likely issue is a Throttle Body and MAF that needs cleaning, or an engine sensor that has failed/failing.

My Range Rover 2.7 diesel starts but then chugs on a very low idle, no throttle response and black smoke, what could be wrong?

i'd suggest getting the cylinder compressions checked , black smoke indicates burning oil so could be piston rings , also that would explain lack of throttle response and low revs

No throttle response

What you replaced is the APP(accelerator pedal position) It is part of the electronic throttle control, what was truly needed is know as the TAC MOTOR. This recieves signal from the APP.The TAC is what accelerate the car.The only thing you can do other than replace the TAC,is do a TAC relearn .Turn thhe key off. wait ten seconds,Turn key on with the engine off.leave 1 minute. Turn key off start the vehicle you will hear the TAC motor setting itself.

No Throttle Response - 2006 Hyndai Sonata Diesel Auto

Have dealer check the computer codes - I had same problem and it required that the accelerator module be replaced - this is "drive by wire" system - no direct hookup to the throttle body.
