Remove tour pack - 2005 Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic

I have not worked this particular model. However, Harley wiring harness connections are modular, that is, they're set up in sections that plug into each other. For the Tour Pack there are two connections, one from the Tour Pack, and the other into a harness somewhere around rear drive. Wiring is like plumbing - follow the pipes. The service manual ($80) is a worthwhile investment for a $30,000 bike.

The most likely cause is a stuck brake switch, probably the foot brake switch. Remove the switches and exercise them then refit. Should fix it or tell you which one has failed.

Front speaker output comes from the amp, which you removed with the tour pack. You will need to wire the speakers directly to the radio speaker out wires to function without the amp

Disconnect all of the electrical connections including the antenna wire from under the seat going to the tour pack and then remove the four nuts under the tour pack which holds it to the mount. At this point, simply lift it off.
