The fuel cap on my Kymco Xciting 500 does not open. I do exactly as I used to do and turn the key towards to the right as always but it refuses to open. please help. Much appreciated Nik
Put some penertrating oil in lock and let it soak as you get weather in it , then work it carefully and it should free ! if not get a locksmith to open it then replace lock ! P...

Remove the panel between your legs , with a screwdriver, Use the adapter found under the seat, you can locate the spark plug there, not to easy to see try with a torch first to locate it

Remove the seat. There should be a large plastic box with ( I think ) 6 screws in it to remove the air box cover. Go for it, then remove the filter. Your now exactly half way done.

not sure how much gas is in it but buy yourself a bottle of gas line antifreeze and put a half bottle in your tank now and a half next time you fill up. it absorbs any water in your fuel.
