(wobble method): Inlet 0.02 0.07 mm 0.18 mm

Here is some rule of thumb specs
intake should be between .003" to .005"
exhaust should be between .006" to .008"
When it's set right, it should feel like pushing a butter knife through butter right out of the fridge, also be aware that sometimes the lock nut can either tighten the clearance or loosen it.. This is a job to really take your time on
As a rule of thumb most valve clearences are .010" inlet and.012" exhaust ( hot) but I suspect yous will have hydraulic tappets which take up the clearence as soon as the oil pressure comes up
The valve lash adjustments on these bikes are done with shims on a COLD engine. Intake valves 0.15-0.20 Exhaust valves 0.22-.0.27 Check the specs on your emissions sticker to confirm...California bikes are subject to change. If you are not familiar with timing marks and adjustment procedures, i recommend you buy the manual and follow the steps outlined, the illustrations are also a big help. Good luck, i hope this helps.
