Check the levers on the carb moves when you open the throttle, if it does suspect the carb.
Fuel in carb goes from the bowl out of carb toward cylinder through 2 carb jets. One is only for idle - ignore it. The other may be blocked. its a very small brass screw in item with a pinhole in it. Clean all the carb internals carefully, do not make pinholes bigger than they are.

SOURCE: can you adjust rear shocks on a 94 intruder 800

hi this may help, this si quite a common complaint on shaft drive bikes, what you are actually experiencing is the torque reaction between the drive shaft rotating on a horizontal plane and the crown wheel rotating iin a vertical plane,as you crack the throttle open the back of the bike wants to stand up and off the throttle the back end will squat down, some of the earlier bmws were like riding a pogo stick, they were very bad for it,stiffening up the suspension may help a little, but it will still be there, unfortunatley it is a problem that is common on all shaft drive bikes(my gl1200 and gl1500 goldwings both do it so you are not alone...hope this helps

SOURCE: need setting for carb. adjuster on bottom of carb

Turn the adjusting screw all the way in until it LIGHTLY seats. Now back it out one and one half turns. Do the same adjustment for the throttle screw on the right side of the carb. You are now back to the stock factory settings.

Could you take a moment and rate my answer? Thanks!

I would try checking the rubber between the carb and motor for air leaks,and/or spray carb cleaner through while running with the air box open.
Hope this helps.

Did you sync the two carbs? If not the rear may be getting all the gas from the rear carb and none to the front. Twist throttle engine off and see if front carb cable is pulling the carb open.
Also unscrew the spark plug boot from the front spark plug wire and trim 1/8th inch off the wire and screw the boot back in. The plug wire end may be corroded on that wire.

New fuel pump but no fuel going to carb fuel bowls

Pull the fuel line going to the carb and see if the gas is there and if its a nice strong steady flow, if not the line is clogged.

60 psi in a 4 cylinders and fuel won't get to carb

Regarding compression, your valves may need adjustment. Since compression is even across cylinders I doubt the rings are at fault here. As far as the bowls are concerned, your needle valves may be stuck closed. Tapping on the fuel bowls with a screwdriver handle a few times usually loosens them up and allows fuel to flow again. If not then you may need to check your petcock again as it may be clogged.

My bike is bogging down, drowning plugg in fuel, white smoke & strong smell of fuil from rear cylinder, what could be the problem?

Sounds like the float is sticking in the carb on the rear cylinder, washing the cylinder with fuel, and possibly going into the crankcase oil. The carbs will need to be removed,cleaned,set-up,and synchronized.Be sure to change your oil as well. The gas has most likely mixed with the engine oil,and will cause you to spin a bearing or worse.
Good Luck!

2002 suzuki intruder gas is running out the breather tube coming from the carb.

hi,it sounds like you have a stuck float valve, give the carb bowl a good healthy tap with the handle of a screwdriver,it may loosen it up and problem solved, however if it doesnt then you will have to remove the carb and free the float bowl up,.floats sticking can be caused by fuel left in the bowls over a long period(winter),when the fuel evaporates it leaves behind a white gummy looking compound that can create all sorts of havoc in a carb...cheers

I didnt start my bike this winter and i think im not gettin fuel i believe my carb is clogged

First..drain the old fuel from the tank, [replace with fresh gas],..open the bolt on the bottom of the carburetor with the fuel petcock in the "on" or "open" position,..and using a small catch pan..drain the carb,[flush],the old fuel out/water/???any old crud out. Re-close the float bowl cover bolt. If problem still persists,..take carb off and thoroughly clean it. GL.

My Suzuki Intruder 750 of 1985 is not running smooth and is giving fuel from the first cilinder exhaust , my best guess is the choke which is may be stuck , what do you think ?

It could be a stuck choke, but it could be a stuck carb float, or needle valve. You may want to pull the carb bowl off and check and clean.
Once you get the bowl off, you can use a can of spray carb cleaner to spray the needle valve (gas inlet to carb), and inside the bowl, any jets and around the choke. Also check your air cleaner.
While you're at it, pull the spark plugs, and check to see how they look. I would clean them with carb cleaner, make sure there's clean metal at the electrode and replace any that look questionable.

Suzuki vs800 intruder dies after about a mile!

Sounds like water in the gas. ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher on hand when working on carburetors.
For each carb > Drain the carburetor. There should be a screw on the lower side or bottom of the carb float bowl. Remove the screw then replace it after the fuel drains. Turn the gas back on and wait a minute for the carb to fill with gas. If the bike doesn't start and run properly then shut off the gas and remove the carburetor from the engine.

Remove the float bowl and clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb.
Put the carb back together, clean the air filter and install the carb. Let the float bowl fill then start the engine. This process should get you back on the road.

NO SPARK TO REAR CYLINDER

Troy, the problem is probably not a lack of spark. More likely it is a lack of fuel in that rear CARB. Do what is shown and you will probably be back on the road in a few hours.

Drain the carburetors. There should be a screw on the lower side of each CARB float bowl. Remove the screw then replace it after the fuel drains. Any water in the gas? Remove the water trap bowl at the bottom of the petcock, (gas valve). Any water or trash in the bowl? Drain a cup of gas from the tank. Any water or trash in the cup? Dump it, clean it and re-mount it, ( not all bikes have a water trap bowl ). Install new stock NGK spark plugs. Remove the carburetors from the engine.

FOR EACH CARB > Remove the float bowl and clean the entire
CARB with a spray CARB cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the CARB. Remove the two screws on the outside throat of the CARB and spray into the screw holes as well.
< < READ CLOSELY > >
Be sure to put these two screws back in the same hole they came out of. IMPORTANT > do not tighten these two screws down. Only screw these in until they LIGHTLY seat. Now turn each screw one and one half turns outward. Put the rest of the
CARB back together, clean the air filter and install the CARB. Balance and sync the carbs.

This process should get you back on the road.
