I have a leaking oil cooler hose and have been told to expect problems in replacing them as the removal can be difficult without damaging the radiator.
Also, genuine hoses are very expensive. Any advice before I start?

Christmas comes early. Go to the site below and you can download a free PDF service manual. Yours is the 1st one in the "Suzuki GSF" section of the list. 4 or 5 below that is a PDF parts diagram with part numbers.

http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp Most manuals are in English but some are not. There is no way to be sure without doing the download. You can always delete it if in a foreign language.

The stock adjuster fitted to the 1200 bandit is self adjusting. Aftermarket manual adjusters are available if the auto adjusters malfunction.

Will 190/0x17 tire clear the chain, swing arm, etc. on a GSF 1200

depends on the make of tyre whether u will have clearance or not. U should b aware that 190s r not made to run on 5.5 inch rims and doing so stuffs up the tyres profile and will adversely effect the handling.
