Like all mechanical issues this is just a matter of elimination.
There is no mention of the exhaust system in the comment.
Is the motor backfiring despite the exhaust?
Is there a corroded suppression baffle increasing back pressure?
"... looking back this issue has slowly got worse"
There is a balance in the explosive gases, based on the comment.
So it seems the ignition chamber gases / fuel mix is correct. But there is enough fuel air ratio to post ignite, seems like an exhaust side issue from the comments.
Still there is nothing like feet on the ground ;)
is there any the timing could be out???the motor itsself has never been touched
ill start again,,,is there any chance the timing could be out,the motor its self has never been touched, the only think i havent changed is the coils or checked the timing .
The assumption was the timing was set as the carb was rebuilt. Leads, coils and all the electrical circuit needs to be in top condition for the timed spark to ignite the fuel.

sounds like the floats are stuck. cleaning carbs should do the trick. its a good practice to start up motorcycles and let them warm up from time to time while being stored.

These bikes dont like to idle for very long. If you ride at a reasonable pace, it shouldn't glow for long. If it persists... Your jetting is too lean. Check out thumpertalk.com for a pictorial step by step how to re-jet

You need new regulator and new battery. The battery works as a filter as well.If it is in bad condition it does not filter anything and in high rpm the current is very high.
SOURCE: idles with choke on - dies immediately with choke off
check air bleeds in carb next check exhaust port and pipe may be clogged as well as air intake
