MAIN FUSE KEEPS BLOWING FROM TIME TO TIME WHEN I RIDE. STARTED HAPPENING AFTER JUMPING THE BATTERY WITH A CAR WHILE THE CAR WAS RUNNING. MECHANIC CANT TRACE THE CAUSE OF THE FUSE BLOWING. WHAT SHOULD I DO? THEY WANT ME TO JUST START REPLACING PARTS.

Find another mechanic or get a guarantee that there is no charge for parts or labor if what the mechanic replaces does not fix the problem, or if the problem comes back within 30 days.

There has to be something simple. check for broke/melted wires, wiggle test wires to make it blow fuse. how long does it take to blow fuse. does the fan go on.do you have to ride it to get it to blow?

With headlights on, random occasional issue with interior lights (dash/stereo). They go from dim to bright, as if I had turned off the headlights. Don't believe headlights actually go off during this....

do a meter test on the battery test it with no lights on and no engine running should show 12.5volts. now do the same with engine running should be around 13-14 volts on idle if under 12 volts when engine is running or spikes in power were by keeps jumping up and down on the volts then the alienator is at fault. if all is fine. then you will need to check the earth's one under the battery. check them are good and clean. then there is the light switch and fuse you need to check them. look at the fuse if intacted. test it and at same time flick the fuse see if it stays good. failing all them and nothing wrong there must be a fault with the main line some were and that is going to take some finding. could be any were from the main fuse to each light unit.

Fuel pump fuse keeps blowing on my 95 Crown Vic

Using a smaller fuse should make the problem happen more often.
A mechanic would unplug the pump harness at the tank and check the circuit for high resistance or a short to ground.
If nothing is found in the harness, I would suspect the pump in the tank.

I have a 91 fzr 600 recently did oil change, spark plugs, didnt ride bike for 2 days then went to ride it today and wont start, thought it was the battery so i jumped it and it started but started running...

you will need to try a new battery, unfortunatly sometimes jumping of a larger battery can spike the regulator, so when the new battery is fitted put a mulimeter across the battery, should read just over 12v engine stopped and rise to 13.5-14v with the engine running.

Speedometer, odometer, a/c clutch and ABS light on

Its a faulty switch/sensor on your brakes master cylinder. The switch leaks brake fluid into the wires connected to it causing a short in the circuit and blowing the fuse that controls the ABS, odometer, speedometer and cruise control. This problem can also cause a fire. A fire can occur even when the car is off. Go to this link to find out how to fix the problem. - http://www.fordwindstarrecall.info/

A main fuse to start the car keeps blowing

Theres gotta be a sorting wire somewhere in the car. Since it stopped for a while after the alarm was disconnected, I would think its under the dash somewhere
