no, there is already a part that will tighten your timing chain we called it chain tensioner. if your chain is loose you better change no need to adjust. thanks!
Cam chain normally must be replaced, but sometimes cam chain tensioner may have some space to put more tension to tighten the cam chain. If you know how to access it then go for it. Good advise?
No. The cam chain is an endless chain, to do the job right you have to pull the engine, and split the crankcase halves to get the chain out and back in.
could be the transmission output shaft bearing. or a dry / worn out chain or if the rear wheel is not in alignment binding the chain or the cush drive could be worn out esp. with your wording "takeoff" lol
Hi. I would only use a good motorbike chain lube for your motorbike as a bicycle chain oil may well be to thin and will increase chain ware. As for oil, check in your service book or manual. If you do not have one ask at you local motorbike shop and they will tell you whitch oil you nead. Regards Tony.
