Usually there is a small slot beneath the speedo. It's just big enough for the key to fit in. Slide the key into the slot . You'll feel a little pressure because it's pushing in the reset switch.

Honda Scoopy will not start

SOURCE: scoopy
There is a fuel shutoff valve on the bottom of the tank that stops fuel flow when the engine is not running.
At a guess while the scooter was in storage the fuel evaporated from the carby and fuel lines. Now you are trying to start it again the fuel is slowly flowing down to the carby but not fast enough to fill the carby and start the engine.
You are probably close to starting if you cranked it for about 1 minute.
Three posibilities, keep cranking, keep adding fuel to the inlet to keep it kicking over until the carby gets fuel or take the vacuum line off the carby and suck on it for a while to let the fuel flow down to the carby.
Either way you should be close to it starting assuming its just the fuel shortage in the carby.

  • The Service Monitor meter contains a service minder function that utilizes the 4-digit LCD display.
  • The letters "CHG" will display followed by the letters "OIL" and then followed by the meter accumulated time.
  • CHG"/"OIL"/TIME will alternate on the display for five (5) minutes after the meter reaches 50 hours.
  • While the LCD is displaying the "CHG"/"OIL"/TIME letters, the red LED "oil symbol" will also be flashing for the entire five (5) minutes.
The display will also flash as described above for five (5) minutes every time the tractor has been started during the maintenance time interval. The interval will occur every 50 hours and will be in effect for two (2) hours.( Example: this feature will display from 50-52 hrs., 100-102 hrs., 150-152 hrs etc...)

How to reset the odometer after change the oil in 2006 honda acc rd

It is illegal to reset the odometer (total mileage the car has travelled, which is now how the odometer is defined), but if you mean the trip meter:
To reset a trip meter, display it, and then press and hold the Select/Reset knob until the number resets to ‘‘0.0’’.
Hope this helps you.

Yellow/gold wrench is illuminated on dash board

Please note:

Honda makes reference to proper vehicle maintenance in their service/user manual. Consult your authorized Honda dealer before doing anything that may void your vehicle warranty.

Owner's Manual page 193-197.

Resetting the Engine Oil Life
Indicator

Your dealer will reset the display
after completing the required
maintenance service. You will see
‘‘OIL LIFE 100 %’’ on the odometer/
trip meter display the next time you
turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.

If maintenance service is done by
someone other than your dealer,
reset the maintenance minder as
follows:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.

2. Press the Select/Reset knob until
the engine oil life indicator is
displayed.

3. Press the Select/Reset knob for
more than 10 seconds. The engine
oil life indicator and the
maintenance item code(s) will
blink.

4. Press the Select/Reset knob for
more than 5 seconds. The
maintenance items code(s) will
disappear, and the engine oil life
will reset to ‘‘100.’’

Important Maintenance
Precautions

If you have the required service
done but do not reset the display, or
reset the display without doing the
service, the system will not show the
proper maintenance intervals. This
can lead to seriousmechanical
problems because you will no longer
have an accurate record of when
maintenance is needed.
Your authorized Honda dealer
knows your vehicle best and can
provide competent, efficient service.
However, service at a dealer is not
mandatory to keep your warranties
in effect. Maintenance may be done
by any qualified service facility or
person who is skilled in this type of
automotive service. Make sure to
have the service facility or person
reset the display as previously
described. Keep all receipts as proof
of completion, and have the person
who does the work fill out the
maintenance record. Check your
warranty booklet for more
information.
