Check your speedometer cable. If you don't regularly lubricate it it can rust and break eventually. There should be a cable running from the front tire near the axle up to the back of the speedometer assembly. Inspect it for damage.

Usually if both the odometer and speedometer stop working, the problem is the speed sensor on the transmission. You should also have a trouble code in the engine computer. If one component works but the other does not, the problem is usually the speedometer head in the dash.
Check your speedometer cable, detach it from the speedometer elevate the front wheel and spin it notice the inner cable if it turns or not, if not replace the cable if it spins then replace the speedometer.
this sounds like a bad speedometer cluster, you stated everything else works so i assume the speedometer is working and just the odometer and trip stopped working and so the speedometer will need replacing. good day.
the odometer usually runs off the cable that operates the speedometer, if the speedometer is working there is a problem with the odometer, you may have to replace the speedometer to fix the problem.......hope this helps......cheers
There is a gear in the speedometer that is stripped and is causing the odometer to stop working. You can get a replacement gear from Odometer Gears (Jeff Caplan) 757-593-3478. You will need special tools to replace these gears, so you may want to take the speedo or the car to a speedometer shop.
Your speed sensor has failed. The vehicles speedometer is not cable controled, it's controled by a sensor in your transmission. It's a easy fix, but the new sensor is about $80 to $100 depending on where you get it.
