Check under the seat under the battery box there you should find the drive pulleys for the rear end the belt could be worn out and turned inside out causing it to slip or stop pulling once it heats up mine was installed inside out from Lowes when I purchased the mower causing me to replace the belt hope this helps
Something to try. I have a Craftsman ride on. When the motor is about to stall, loosen the gas cap. My gas cap vent was plugged and the mower would run fine for a while then stall like it was out of gas. I noticed that my plastic gas tank was collapsed a bit and found my problem.
I hope this solves yours or at least eliminates a potential cause.

no model # on my DLT3000. Replaced rear fender a few years ago where the model # used to be. I can't get the right parts w/o model #. It was by my dad sometime between '04 and '07. It's red w/42" cut, 20hp koler pro motor.
