Go ahead and jump it. your battery is dead or you have a bad connection with the battery cables. try jump starting it or at least hooking up a battery charger over night. (the engine size of the vehicle wont determin if it will be able to jump start the other vehicle.)

We repair our Toyota Lucida automatic transmission because in runs on reverse only. Our problem now is that it will start to move forward only, once the engine RPM was between 1800 to 2000. Another thing,...

The problem concerning low gear locked up sounds like a bad primary shift solenoid (located on the valve body internally) the other issue with the forward gear only engaging with the rpm up to 1800 could be inadequate hydraulic pressure (a transmission front pump issue), most likely there is no problem with the pump if when shifting the selector lever into reverse it engages quickly and normally. This may be a transmission computer issue and I would recommend having the dealership do a diagnostic check on the transmission to eliminate the computer as a culprit. transmission problems are very difficult to figure out and before spending a lot of money get the electrical diagnostic done first.

Transmission oil and filter change

if this is the 92 camry very easy put the car up on ramps or on jack stands set the emergency brake. the transmission pan is the one closest to the driver side of the vehicle start removing the bolts with an 8mm or 10mm socket you want to remove them from one side to the other to allow the pan slant to one side so the fluid does not get everywhere have your drain pan under it to catch the fluid. have fluid has finished draining take pan the rest of the way down and remove filter is is bolted in two or three bolts remove and replace with new one. remove any trash from pan magnet and pan replace gasket and put back together should take about 4 quarts to fill back up put in one at a time and check level

Starting Toyota Estima Lucida

There are various things this could be ie inhibitor switch on auto box relays wiring fault or ignition barrel problems try putting the starting the car in N instead of P and wiggle gear lever about other option bypass everything and connect a live feed straight to starter motor cranking wire which is located on the starter motor, if car still wont turn over tap starter motor with a hammer, if hammer trick works then you need a new starter

1991 Honda Accord Starting/Ignition trouble

sounds like a bad battery or the battery cables are corroded where they hook up to the battery or loose. if it cranks for a couple seconds slow than clicks quickly there isnt enough voltage getting to the starter. not all new parts are good.

Toyota lucida won't start

What you have is a VERY common problem. Your starter solenoid contacts are worn out. To rectify this, you have 2 options: Remove the starter and replace the burnt contacts (the are located under a metal plate that has 3 small bolts holding it to the starter; replace the plunger and the 2 copper coloured contacts) OR reeplace the starter. The clicking noise that you hear is the plunger hitting one contact, but the current from the battery is not passing thru the plunger to the other contact that leads into the windings of the starter. No contact = no crank.
