you will need to bled the pump. look for the bolt with a crush washer on it. fill your tank and remove the bolt the oil will start to come out make sure it comes out with no bubbles. as far the cable adj. you should get manual with out seeing it i would hate to tell you one thing and it not be right. probably the ignition coil or module, when it shuts down immediately check for spark, if there is no spark that's where your problem lies. if there is spark then chances are it's a fuel problem, and your fuel solenoid (if it has one) could be faulty, when it heats up it shuts the fuel off. good luck
