One at a time! Don't take any more than one off, then replace each one with the exact same replacement. Oh and the engine should be cool to the touch.

SOURCE: 2000 honda 1100 shadow spirit. Rough idle, little power.

Replace the spark plug caps and try again. On Honda's the cap is often part of the wire (a dealer part) NGK makes some inexpensive plug caps about $5 each. They should OHM out to 5000 anything above or below and you need to replace them. This should fix the problem.

Yes, you have two spark plugs per cylinder for a total of four plugs on the cycle. You can remove them using the spark plug wrench that came in your Honda tool kit.

2002 honda vt 750 shadow spirit one cylinder won't fire what's the problems

Pull the plug out and test it on the frame. If no spark you need new plugs. If it does spark look at the plug. If the plug is black and wet it is getting to much fuel and flooding. You will need to adjust your carb's air to gas mixture.

Sounds like itermitten spark.Clean stator with electrical cleaner(under flywheel)then replace spark plugs and check for spark.then the electrical componets to check are CDI ignition box and coil.If either of these go bad you will have no spark.Check also the condition of spark plug wires and rubber boots these can somtimes dry rot and go to ground shorting out wire to plug cuasing bike not to start.

SPUTTERING WHEN HOLDING 50-60 MPH

Since it ran fine before you "fixed" it, go back over the things you changed. Put the old spark plugs back in it. Double check all spark plug wires and ignition connections. Put the bike in a dark area and run it at night, can you see any arcing anywhere?
