Open the electronics box and jump the solenoid . If the starter works you have a bad solenoid. If you hold the starter button and tap on the starter, and the starter works , you need starter brushes. If the starter has burnt coils, has a shorted armature , or is wet inside, you need a new starter.

No cranking ! After you push your button , just clicks, try to bypass your start solenoid at your ignition box. I would pull out spark plugs first. Just take a screw driver and cross the main battery post to the starter post at the box. If it turns over than your start solenoid is bad.

Hi my name is Neal. I have a 2004 kaw 900 stx jet ski with the heat light flashing and when I put it in the water it will NOT run full throttle and cuts out from start. However out the water with flush...

I'm no expert on jet-skis or anything but it sounds like you may have a "water-pump" issue. In the water it bogs and cuts out..... but put a "flow" of water from a "hose" and it runs fine out the water, the flow of water surpasses the water-pump and allows flow to cool the engine. I would check water-pump before I would go too far with it. Hope this helps, Jesus loves you, John 3:16-17 (KJV)

Jet ski is "hard stopping"

Any motor that runs and then develops sudden stopping symptoms gives me suspicions of fuel delivery problems.
I'm not familiar with your machine, but I would be looking at the fuel filter as probably plugged up.
Wild guess, but sometimes I luck out.
Cheerfuls.

I picked up a 1995 sl 750 Polaris jet ski charged up a new battery but when I push the start button nothing happens

Try using a jumper from the battery directly to the starter, bypassing the switch. You may have a bad starter switch.

Jet ski wont crank

test voltage at the starter while pushing start button. its also possible that the factory ignition kill is activated, try holding up the lanyard button and repeatadly hit the start button if the alarm is engaged then you should hear the starter barely kick every couple of seconds so then just unlock it. and last and certainly the most common, starter solenoid, they go bad all the time. be sure to check your fuses first though.

Kawasaki 550sx won't start

souds as if the starter is faulty. Use a volt meter to check voltage at the starter while holding the start button. If you get a battery voltage reading, then the starter is shot.
