2009 Triumph Bonneville. Tail running light does not work. Brake light and all other indicators and lights work. bike runs great. No power to the #10 %amp fuse in or out. but like I said everything works other then tail lamp. Please help. Thank you in advance.
As far as the triumph Bonneville question I asked. I troubleshot it down to a problem in the key switch. One of the copper contacts was cracked internally and the The taillight would not work in the on position. Only the Park position. Very sneaky and tricky find. But with a lil theory, a multimeter and I got it solved. Thank you for your suggestions..

Test the bulbs, either with a multimeter or by taking leads from the battery (one from each terminal) and touching them on the bulbs terminals...no light...new bulb.
If bulbs are OK then clean all terminals with emery paper. Still no luck...use mulitimeter to test continuity from fuse to bulb seat terminal. If no continuity check the wiring has not been damaged...if so replace it. Usually this is a corrosion problem. Good Luck.

i dont know alot about this but my best gess is you have a bad ground check and make sure you have a good solid connection. hope this helps you.

It mught be the bulb that needs replacing or else check the wiring to the bulb for continuity in case there is a broken or snapped bit.If you have a voltmeter then you can test the voltage reading at the point of contact..Sometimes rust builds up and a simple cleaning would solve this.Hope this helps.
