The oil drain plug is located on the right hand side of your bike  as if you were sitting on it, in front of the swing arm right off of the frame rail. The drain plug is a 5/8 bolt.

Where are the oil drain plugs on 06 heritage softail

Oil tank drain plug is a hose on the right side of the bike that goes down to a fitting on the frame, behind the transmission. The drain plug is threaded into this fitting on the frame and is accessible from under the right frame rail.
Trans drain plug is underneath the trans housing.
Primary drain is to the rear of the primary housing.

Cant find oil drain plug on 2000 flstc

From the right hand side of the bike. look at the bottom of the oil tank. There is a large hose or pipe going down behind the transmission and coming out below the transmission behind the exhaust system. Follow this hose to the end and you'll find a plug in it. Remove the plug to drain the oil. Now, Harley ran the hose to a crossmember of the frame in the same area and the plug screws in from underneath the bike. I don't know what year they made this change but the drain is located at the end of the large hose under the transmission.

Good Luck

Where is the oil drain plug on the 88 c.i.H.D.2003

On all Softail models, look along the bottom of the oil tank from the right side of the bike. You'll see a line or hose going downward towards the transmission. Usually, unless the changed something, the line will come out along the frame down below and behind the transmission. There will be a plug in the end of the line. Remove the plug to drain the oil.

Good luck

Want to change the oil and filter on my 1999 flstc

The oil drain is a large diameter hose with a metal plug in it. It runs down along the backside of the frame just behind the transmission on the right hand side of the bike. There is a metal clip welded onto the frame to hold the hose. Take the hose out of the clip, remove the plug, and drain the oil tank. Refill with three quarts of oil

The transmission drain is a small 1/8" pipe plug that takes a Torx wrench to remove. It is located on the right side of the transmisson just below the chrome clutch release cover. The tranny takes 20-24 ounces of H-D trans lube or Syn3 oil. The transmission fills through the large hole in the top of the chrome clutch release cover. It takes a 7/16" hex key to remove the plug, It has a dipstick on the plug.

Oil change

You owner's manual should tell you how to change the oil. On a Softail, the oil drain is a hose that runs from the oil tank down to the lowest part of the frame right behind the chrome cover on the end of the transmission on the right side of the bike. It has a "plug" in it. Loosen the clamp, pull the plug, and the oil will drain from the oil tank. While it's doing this, change the filter. Yeah, that's a messy job. Once the oil has drained out, replace the plug and refill the tank with the correct amount (3 quarts) of the correct oil (Harley Syn3 or equil).
