I think you are confusing firing order with camshaft timing, you may need to repost the question asking for cam timing position for your particular model

Your points will fire on the combustion and the exhaust stroke. Motorcycles use a wasted spark set up. The points will fire every time the piston approaches top dead center. Set the plate point set first(If there is a point set that you have to turn the mount plate to set). The plate set also times the motor. Then gap the second set.
