You can't run that with half a float. A float is a part that is specifically designed a certain way and size to match the needle . If your float is wrong it will either open to much or not enough the needle valve causing a flooded carb or a carb with not enough fuel to run. I'd check eBay for one or find find a matching carb on eBay ( make sure the mm's are the same as far as the intake side and exhaust side and if the throttle cable slide is in the same location it will work.if its one of those funny named Japanese bikes like a bms or sum thing they got a bunch of those on eBay .

SOURCE: Atomik Pit Bike

After hunting around the web for a few, it sounds like the spring is from the timing chain tensioner. It looks like there is a button on the end of the cylinder, that end goes in first, then the spring. See if the spring is the same on both ends, the picture looks like it's smaller at one end and that end goes into the tensioner, not the bolt. I'll include a screen shot of the picture.
Good luck!11_26_2011_3_17_47_pm.jpg

DO I NEED A SPRING FOR THE FLOTERS IN A 125 4STROKE CARBIERATOR?? I HAVE PLENTY OF SPARK NEW OIL NEW PETROL STILL WONT START

If youre talking about the spring in the carbs. throttle bodythe answer is yes.
Inside the main chamber is a cylinder with a long pin ,this pin or needle goes to the main jet which governs the gas flow.
if the spring is missing the needle will be in the wrong position .
as far as the floats are concerned they teater on a set pin and are designed to float on top of the fuel in the float chamber.make sure they move freely and that there not rubbing on anything or bent.you might want to try some starting fluid to get things started then make your adjustments, after starting aduust the idle screw first.
a good formula for idle screw is turn the screw all the way in .
Then turn it out 3 and one half turns out,
good luck,Gary

My pit bike wont stay runnin

sounds like your carb could be blocked with dirt if it wont start unless you put juice down plug i would take the carb off and give it a good clean and also make sure the jets ok just clean them with carb cleaner and a paper clip

110cc pocket bike carberator

That tube would be the overflow tube. Your carb float is sticking open and allowing fuel to flow in constantly. You need to take carb apart, clean needle valve, and inspect or replace carb float.
