Sounds like there may be a problem with the emissions control system. The rubber hoses tend to crack where they attach to the frame/airbox. Also, stop using fuel cleaners and oil conditioners in your victory. They will not do anything to help your bike.

hey rob
i just live a couple of miles away from spirit lake iowa where they make these bikes. and have friend that work there. . i have tried to get manuals but the factory ones are the best one out there . and it might cost you a little but it would be better than a poor manual that would give wrong specs.
just a little word of advice.

May I suggest a trip to your local library. Cycle repair books should be in 646 stacks of reference.

How do i get rid of the tick from the motor. plugs changed spring 2013, run cleaners and additives nothing seems to be working, should I be concerned? second the front cylinders coughs at idle?

Engine ticks on a regular beat in tune with the rpm of the engine indicates a loose / burnt manifold gasket on a particular cylinder or a cracked manifold near a particular cylinder. It could also be a loose/ blown head gasket at the cylinder that is coughing at idle.

2007 JackPot not charging

Check the connections on your battery terminals. They could be loose and/or gummed up.

Discounect the battery and clean up both the wires and terminals on the battery using a wire brush and electrical parts cleaner.

IMPORTANT!- do NOT ground the battery out by cleaning both terminals at the same time. LOTs of sparks and fire hazard. Plus that whole shocking yourself isn't fun either. Been there.

If that doesn't fix your problem, then more than likely you have a short coming off of your charging unit in the primary, or a bad ground.(Left side cover) Its a new bike, so there's a very small chance that its the charging unit itself.

Hope this helps

Good Luck!

Jackpot tires problem

If your Jackpot has a Dunlop Cruisemax on the front that's the problem. The first two Cruisemax's on the front of my Vegas had to be replaced at 6000 miles. The third tire was a Dunlop 90/90 Elite 3, that tire lasted 12,000 miles
