SOURCE: Front fork oil capacity

Hi Lukepentcof.

its 350cc or 11.8 ounces in the Clyma book, but that's for a 1986 onwards model. you can vary the amount you use to suit your style of riding anyways. I doubt it would be that far from the mark.

How do I bleed the clutch on a 1978 Honda Goldwing GL 1000

break loose the bleed nipple on the caliper. Open the reservoir at the brake lever and fill with fluid. Keep it open as it has a very small capacity and you will be re-filling it as you go along. Wait and see if it will gravity bleed out. If not, pull the brake lever and put your finger over the bleed when you release the lever- so it won't **** air back in. You should be able to feel the air bubbles "squish" out of the caliper. Continue till no air is left.

Tighten up the caliper nipple and fill the res to the top and your done.

Jumps out of gear in top

There are only two things that could cause the problem. Very dirty oil is one and the other is a slightly bent shift fork. Try the oil and filter change first. All you have spent is $3.00 on oil and $8.00 for a filter. If a bent fork is the problem the cost is something equal to the national budget. If it is the fork I suggest you live with it and don't go over 80.
