Some sensor or BCM, by that reason please RUN the scanner/computer for easy diagnostic and fix it. You must understant the electronic in vehicle is very complicated. Use the resources of tech for repair.

if you have changed the distributor cap, rotor button, spark plug wires and plugs and you still dont have fire then its most likely your distributor.first check the fuses or relays if you have replaced those items.

The fi light is flashing constantly when trying to fire up.there is no spark.when tested the fi light gives one long flash and 3 short flashes. thankyou.my zx12r is a uk 2000 model.a1

FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter restricting airflow, a plugged injector, an error in fuel mapping, any number of things. Serious problems can trigger the computer to prevent starting until the problem is fixed. You will need to take the bike to a Kawasaki dealer to have them plug in a code reader. The code reader will tell you exactly what the problem is. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

My 1500fi kills after several miles of riding

check plugs for a nice blue spark, if spark is orange, the problem is a weak ignition coil, check its wire contacts, or replace

2008 dodge avenger spark plug location and socket size.

  • 2008+ Dodge Avenger 2.4L 4cyl.
  • Remove plastic cover on top of engine, just pull on each corner for it is friction fit.
  • Once removed you will see 4 black spark plug covers with one hex type screw holding each.
  • Remove Hex screw and place aside, pull upward to remove plug boot from plug.
  • To remove the plug, use a 5/8 socket with a 6" extension. Once plug has been turned out all the way and you cannot get the plug up and out of the hole, just press the plug boot back on the plug and pull it back up.
  • Gap and replace 4 plugs with the same or equavalent type,. Drop plug down the hole and use socket to align and tighten until just snug, then torque to manufactures specifications.
